Synopsis |
 |
Marcus is a homeless writer who has worked for the last
fifteen years on a manuscript in the library. The sanctuary
that the library had always provided him is lost when he gets
up to use the bathroom and returns to find the manuscript missing.
Months later Marcus reads about a new book coming out, Status
Quo. It is a homeless narrative, yet to be released, but
previewed in the New York Times Book Review. Marcus reads
the review and believes that this is his missing manuscript!
Marcus' homeless friends spread the word throughout New York
City. They try and get Marcus the recognition he deserves before
the book comes out. On the night of the book signing party Marcus,
with his homeless troops, confront the publishers...
